i love how me talking about blockchain to people usually is a case of "and it gets WORSE".

its just impressive how bad and purposeless the technology really is.

99% of these usecases can be solved either by a relational database or the git object model.

@davidgerard @glitch is someone selling this as a sticker?

@mattl @glitch i got some printed up as stickers and have sent them to patrons of my blog

but anyone should feel free to get 'em printed up if they feel like it

i got mine done at stickermule, cost about 30p/sticker i think in the end

the 5cm stickers are very cute

alternate designs might include a blue bar across the bitcoin logo, to lower the risk of a coiner seeing and thinking you want to share good news for bitcoin with them

@davidgerard @glitch I heard something not great about that company. But I would like to see someone sell these in bulk so I can give them to everyone.

@mattl @glitch probably, they try a bit hard to be cool. i used them because they print round stickers. alternatives welcomed, for if i ever run out of these ones.

>design a technology to verify trust in zero-trust environment
>forget to verify if that environment even needs to exist
>its main implementation is ludicrously wasteful to the environment
>the entire thing is so slow its only useful for scammers
>the only vaguely interesting thing (domain names) is vulnerable to squatting on renewal
