the Heritage Foundation just got all its sites blacklisted (= spam filter) from English Wikipedia, and probably deprecated (can't be used as a source)

@davidgerard classic Wikipedia FAFO. Love it.
@davidgerard oh damn, that's a nice change
@davidgerard At first I misread your post as saying that the Heritage Foundation itself actively did it, but no. I like how precisely the whole matter is explained in the linked page.
@davidgerard Good. No doubt an executive order will be incoming soon to address this.
@grievousangel @davidgerard Trump will ban serving tea on federal premises
GOOD.
The Heritage Foundation was (is) a an organization the spreads misinformation and propaganda. The organization that was telling people how "good" Project 2025 was, and how fascism policies were going to make us all "great".
@davidgerard How many sources have had their sites blacklisted and deprecated because they threatened wikipedia editors?
Can't be many
@davidgerard I’m glad they are being proactive.
@davidgerard It's a start, now do Turning Point USA and any other group whose existence is primarily to support Republican terrorists.
@davidgerard deny listed rather
Seems wise, also FAFO.
@davidgerard
Between this, Elmo's and Trumps ranting against Wikipedia and the attempts to make it more 'conservative', I decided to finally set up a monthly donation to Wikipedia to keep them out of the hands of the fashists.
@davidgerard Now www.heritage[.]org has been unlinked everywhere on the English Wikipedia.
